Mosaic Open Studio

DATE: Mondays
TIME: 9:30am-12pm
LOCATION: 28 Donna Rd, Newton, MA
COST: $180.00 (for 4 classes)



In this ongoing workshop, suitable for all levels, you will work on a project of your choice and at your own pace. If you are a beginner, you will begin by learning basic mosaic techniques, such as designing, cutting methods, proper adhesives, setting/layout of tiles, and grouting. You will be provided with plenty of examples to get your ideas flowing . If you are an intermediate or advanced student, you will advance and refine your skills by practicing your own techniques and sharing ideas with the instructor and other students. Use of tools, grout, and other materials included; cost of tiles not included (usually $5 to $20 per project). Three students minimum to hold the class. The rate includes four 2.5 hour classes (10 hours).
